About Bearcat Abyss
Hi, I’m Nola, the creator behind this space.
“Bearcat Abyss” comes from a nickname my husband gave me. I have a habit of putting things somewhere “safe”… and then they disappear into what we jokingly call the Bearcat Abyss.
It’s a little chaotic, a little funny, and honestly fits me pretty well. So this space is a mix of that too—creative, a bit all over the place, and full of things I enjoy.
This website is where I share things I’m getting back into, like crafting, plants, and spending time outdoors camping and fishing around New Mexico.
Life hasn’t always been consistent for me, so this isn’t a “perfect” blog. It’s more of a place where I can share what I’m making, what I’m learning, and what I’m trying, one step at a time.
Some days that looks like creating something small. Some days it’s taking care of one plant. And some days it’s just getting outside, even for a little while.
I also run BearCatAbyss Creations, where I make handmade accessories and creative pieces. This space connects a little bit of everything I enjoy.
